More Power from Double-sided Solar Panels
Unlike typical rooftop solar, Xpanse solar panels have PV cells on top and underneath. This design allows the system to generate energy from the sun above and from below through reflected light. This means even if you’re not parked in the optimal orientation or if the top panels are covered by dirt, snow, or even shade, you can still generate power.
Better Airflow for More Power
Solar panels typically get less efficient the hotter they get. That’s why panels mounted close to the RV roof can overheat due to low airflow, reducing their performance. Unlike rooftop solar, Xpanse is extended away from the vehicle with open airflow above, underneath, and all around, helping it stay cooler to maximize energy production even on hot days.
Extensively Tested for Wide Operating Range
Xpanse™ has been designed and tested to withstand harsh conditions such as rough travel over mixed terrain, vibration, impacts, 45 mph winds, heavy rain, intense blowing sand, temperatures from -4° to 140° F, corrosion, UV, and more.

PROTECTION
Armored
The rugged metal shell protects the panels from rocks and other flying objects when your vehicle is on the move or during bad weather, like hail, that would otherwise damage exposed rooftop solar.
When Wind Blows, Xpanse Doesn’t
Sturdy support arms are made from high-strength aluminum and specifically designed to withstand high winds. Xpanse’s SmartSensing technology also uses multiple sensors that automatically retract the system when winds exceed 20 mph to stay out of harm’s way.

Modular for Low Maintenance
All Xpanse parts are modular, which means they can easily replaced if damaged. Also, each of the solar panels independently generate energy so even if a panel gets damaged, the other 49 panels keep working so you can stay off-grid longer with minimal downtime to keep the good times rolling.
